Data collected and why
Registration and sign-in use only a username and password; no email address is required. Account details are used for identity checks, activating subscriptions and support, and for nothing else.
Orders and renewals create order records: plan tier, amount, payment method, order status and activation time. These records are used to activate subscriptions, reconcile accounts, process the 30-day money-back guarantee and settle with payment providers.
The site runs its own analytics, recording aggregate data such as page views, referral source, device type and browser version, to check that pages open correctly and to trace loading faults. Statistics are reviewed in aggregate and are never used to build personal profiles.
When a user submits a support ticket, ZaraVPN receives the ticket text and any attached screenshots; this material is used only to answer that specific issue and is not repurposed.
No-log stance: what is never recorded
ZaraVPN does not record which websites a user visits, does not log destination domains or destination IPs, does not store DNS queries and does not keep the content of traffic carried over its routes. Routes only forward traffic and retain no browsing history that could be traced back.
Connection state (whether a session is online, the current number of concurrent connections) exists only while the connection is active, used to maintain sessions and troubleshoot faults; it is not kept as long-term history.
The diagnostic details needed to troubleshoot a connection are supplied by the user in the ticket, such as client version, operating system and error screenshots. This information is kept only for as long as that ticket is being handled.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses cookies and browser local storage to hold three kinds of information: language preference, the sign-in state of the user panel, and display settings in the interface. They let pages open in the language chosen last time and save signing in to the panel again on every visit.
This information stays in the browser and is used only within this site. Clearing browser data resets the language preference and sign-in state; signing in once restores them.
Third-party payment handling
Subscription payments are made via Alipay, WeChat or USDT, with collection and settlement handled by the respective payment provider. ZaraVPN never sees or stores card numbers, payment passwords or wallet private keys.
Payment providers send the order number and transaction status back to ZaraVPN so subscriptions can be activated, renewed and refunds reconciled. Account information is used only to activate, renew and support this service.
Data retention and deletion
Account information is kept for as long as the account exists. Order and transaction records are kept until the relevant process, whether account reconciliation, refunds or support, is complete, and the same applies to records tied to the 30-day money-back guarantee.
To have data deleted or an account closed, submit a ticket from the user panel stating the request; once it is processed the account is deleted and cannot be restored. If the service is only being paused, renewals can simply be stopped, and no new order records are created after the subscription expires.
Policy updates and scope
When this policy changes, the last-updated date at the top of this page is revised. Material changes to what is collected or how it is used are announced on the site first and take effect on the date stated in that notice.
Continuing to use the service after an update means accepting the updated policy. This policy covers the cross-border network acceleration subscription service provided by ZaraVPN, including the clients for each platform and the user panel, and should be read alongside the Terms of Use. Questions about this policy can be raised in a ticket from the user panel.
